I’m all for making the job easier, less chances for mistake especially when it’s hard to access the timing belt tensioner. My recommendation for anyone doing this job just remove the engine mount and make sure u have a jack with a block of wood up under the oil pan, I believe they are stretch bolts but you can buy a complete kit for like $40.

You don't need the tool. So easy to remove without force.

I'm 90% sure you just tapped into a boost reference for your vacuum. Besides if it is the vacuum side of the turbo it won't work right. The turbo draws more vacuum under boost while manifold vacuum is only present at closed throttle. Vacuum is what assists that style diverter valve open since its not an electronic solenoid like the oem. The turbo flutter is from not having vacuum to open the diverter valve. It was probably acting the same way as blocking off the dv valve

I have a 2010 Jetta TDI manual, and I find it makes that noise at low RPM at like 1200-1800 in 1sg and 2nd … then goes away at higher speeds… What could that be?

did you have to change the fuel injectors I did the same without changing fuel injectors no start low fuel rail presure . just wondering if the injectors are bad

I can honestly say that that tensioner is good by looking at it. Because that belt is barely moving.

My vcds screen is a little different. I might have screwed up loading injector 1. When I hit change value so.ething came up about export. I hit do it and old and new value went to all AAAAAAA. Now I can't change anything. I can't send you a pix of my screen

Ive got 1. I use it all the time. They even did a limited edition run with Ford Motorsport 1 and it sold off all the vans in the UK and people were tripling their money on ebay and people went mad buying them

Can you tell me the size of the cone on the lower most forward arm? 16mm or 20mm?

Appreciate the video! Noticed the videos I've seen so far don't mention anything about the o-rings inside of both of the connecting coolant hoses to the water pump. When I purchased the water pump (metal version) it came with 3 o-rings 2 same and one small. I installed without the 2 larger O-rings. Disconnected the two hoses and nosticed that there were o-rings on the inside of both hoses. Step by step in bold case missed a couple steps 🙂.

This is the only video where I could see the full oem exhaust removed on a c7 a7/s7 . Thanks it helped me decide what exhaust parts to purchase
